Mesopotamia had many key people. Nebuchadnezzar was a very successful man in Ancient Mesopotamia because he rebuilt much of Babylon. Another important man in Ancient Mesopotamia was Abraham because he had twelve sons who became the twelve tribes of Israel. The Assyrians were a large part in Ancient Mesopotamia because they conquered all of the cities and tribes that help to support Babylon. Moses was also a very noteworthy man in this time and did many important things including parting the Red Sea. Last but definitely not least, are the Phoenicians. Their alphabet is the basis for most western languages and were also known as purple people. All of these people had great accomplishments in Ancient Mesopotamia.
